Raised in a family full of music near Trier/Germany, in a „borderhood“ of no fewer than four European neighbors (Luxemburg, France, Belgium and the Netherlands), singer-songwriter Claudia Obser grew up in a culturally colorful world that shaped her artistic vision and her belief that music can bring us all together in peace.
After completing songwriting and voice studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, she released her debut album Vervy’s Mind in 2013, putting that colorful world into music. Shuffle rhythms meet string arrangements. Honky-tonk piano meets Apple loops. Rock structures meet ballads, and „Burnt Caramel“, with its 10/8 time signature, marches to a different drummer.
Claudia has two children and lives with her family in Germany. She is currently working on her second album, which will feature lyrics in German, her native tongue.
